Artist statment:
Two lovers who sprouted together but overtime grew in seperate directions, in the reflection of the water you can see what used to be or what could have been, but it's distorted by the falling branch, a metaphorical illusion to the problems that drive us apart. This piece is inspired by the curious trees that intermingle their trunks together during growth and the emotions of my first heartbreak.
